I took this panoramic picture today after work. My Photoshop program says that it will print 30" by 130"!

Apples Growing At My Work

I wonder what kind of apples these are? It's very odd to think that something that can look so good can grow on ground surrounded by extremely polluted water!

It was nice having my Grandma visit me the last 3 days. It was fun showing her the places that I enjoy hanging out. Although, I couldn't convince her to go mountain biking with me:) There's always next time!

My Grandma really liked the colors of the peppers. I really liked the way they tasted...but, I didn't really like the way they felt afterwards :O

Greedy Bird

Check out this kick-ass movie Erik was able to record. It's of a little bird that visted us while we enjoyed our lunch during yesterday's hike. We called it "Greedy Bird" because it tried to take Erik's entire burrito right out of his hand!

Here's the link:

Yesterday's Melakwa Hike

Yesterday Erik and I went hiking to Melakwa Lake. It was an awesome day. Plenty of fall foliage to be seen, crystal blue sky and nice hiking weather. Although we didn't make it all the way out to Melakwa Lake, we did manage to hike all day covering roughly 17 miles in about 9 hours! This was my longest one day hike ever, and my legs and knees are killing me right now! Sore muscles aside I think this hike was definetly worth it and would recommend it to anyone interested doing an all day hike.

I'll put up some more pictures later, also I'll try to include a Quick-time movie Erik captured of a bird that took some food right out of my hand! Until then, I hope that you will enjoy these photos:

Anxious

I can feel my muscles tense....memory of events that my conscious has written off but my unconscious points a gat at, shakingly.

Volley 6 - Lee.

Volley 5 - Erik.

Volley 4 - Lee. On this volley I decided to take the entire third volley and minimize it up in the upper left quadrant, thereby creating more "creative space".

Volley 3 - Erik.

Volley 2 - Lee.

Volley 1 - Erik. For this Photoshop Tennis match Erik started off with a Pollution based theme.

Today I mountain biked at Tolt-MacDonald. The trails here were pretty dry considering how much rain we've had lately. It sure was alot of fun mountain biking again. This picture is of the bridge that you cross from the parking lot to the trails.

People fishing along the Snoqualmie River. I took this picture on the bridge that leads to the Tolt-Macdonald mountain biking trails.

Nice shot. I think that's Tiger Mountain in the background :)

Tonight I had my dinner over at Magnuson Park and managed to capture this shot of a sailboat with a rainbow in the background.

Fall is here in Seattle. I hope that you were able to do the summer things you wanted to do.

This rabbit was having lunch next to Greenlake on someone's lawn.

Sailing race.

arrghh...sailors ahoy!

I really liked the colors on this duck I saw swimming at the duck pond in Golden Gardens.

Pumpkins pre-prep event before they are to be carved by chainsaws at the Fremont Oktoberfest. They will have another event tomorrow. So go check it out if you have time.

I bought this plant today when I went to go check out the Oktoberfest in Fremont. It's a Nashia Bahama Berry. I named it Ludwig after Ludwig I, the Crown Prince of Bavaria. Ludwig I declared a 16-day celebration in commemoration of his wedding, now celebrated as Oktoberfest around the world today!

[Where the hell is our 16 day celebration? Huh...Huhh?? GW we need to talk.]

Close up of Ludwig. It has shiny leaves and I've read should blossom some very fragrant flowers.
