Sunny Days

Wow, what a great Sunny day today turned out to be! Yesterday ended up being a sunny day too. What is up with the weather predictions? It hasn't been cloudy like was forecasted but sunny and very warm.

In any case it is nice to have sun to make you wake up and get up and out to do something. So after making one of my favorite night-after-drinks potato hash browns and spicy cheese breakfast I decided to go check out the University Farmer's Market (http://www.seattlefarmersmarkets.org/markets/udistrict/). This was the first time that I've ever been to this market...which is kind of sad because it's only about 3 blocks away. I was really impressed with all of the vendors and the variety of foods. There were alot of organic foods, which if you know me is something I really like, and oddly even a vendor that had some pastries from Prague. If you're interesting in fresh awesome food check out the market, plus check out this pdf - http://www.seattlefarmersmarkets.org/fresh/current_fresh.pdf

I decided not to spend very much money due to the pending auto-repair bill, which I still don't know what the total is going to be but I'm sure I will be a very poor man :( However, I did end up buying some organic tomatos. I can't remember tomatos smelling so good, certaintly not the ones that are in the stores. But the tomatos that I bought smelled soooo good I can't wait to eat them in a salad and to top off the salmon burgers I bought at Trader Joe's yesterday.

Well...on thoughts of sweet smelling tomatos I think I'll take a nap :)
